Kentucky will be fine. they'll still get 5* recruits and be right up there.
It was time for Cal to leave. Like he said, "Kentucky needs another voice" in the program.
I'm also under no illusion that Cal will be hoisting a natty in Fayettville.
But I do think he will do better than Muss. Muss peaked early but the last two years we were under .500 in the SEC.

We were hearing rumors of Muss leaving after year 2 when we played in Indiana for the NCAAs as Indiana needed a coach.
Muss certainly ended 25 years of mediocrity in the program, but when it came to beating the Big boys in the tourney (Baylor then Duke then UConn) we got routed.
Muss also made it public of his love for So Cal. He got what he wanted.
When I first looked at my computer Monday morning my jaw dropped. It’s been two excruciating days waiting to hear the final word.

Teams that are in are in and the tourney won't change that. this tourney is important for the bubble teams and none of those will be hosting if they do get in.
Coach DVH hinted around that Hoover isn't convenient for our fans and if they can't make it, oh well.

Even though Tommy "Tanks" got SEC player of the week,the Hogs' Jace Bohrofen was one of 13 players that earned national player of the week honors from Collegiate Baseball Newspaper.
Tommy Tanks wasn't mentioned by Baseball America.

Actually I will look it up for you. Drink is 17-19 with two bowl losses and Odom after three years 19-19 with two bowl losses.

Well you know we already accomplished our goal of winning the SEC, so you know anything else was just bonus, but you know we didn't get all the calls that we have become accustomed to getting and that you know was the difference because you know we won the SEC and you know that is just like winning the natty you know actually it is even better you know.
Anyway you know if we had hit all of our threes we would have won going away you know and we expected we would you know because that is how we planned it you know, but everything didn't go our way you know and that is the fault of the refs you know, but getting into the tourney is hard you know and we are one of the few teams to make it to the tourney three years in a row you know.
Injuries are no excuse but losing ZZ was big.
