In other words, we probably shouldn’t play the game anymore and just go by who we think would win on a neutral field. In the playoffs, it’ll be interesting to see if we go with the winner of the games played at the opponents stadium or with the away team who would’ve won on a neutral field…..

UGA doesn’t have the O-line to go up against the Tennessee defensive front either. And from what we’ve seen so far, both teams secondary’s mirror each other.
This game will come down to whichever team can execute after halftime. Coaching will be key. The talent is pretty even across the board in key spots.
Not sure how a 10-2 Alabama gets in over a 10-2 Tennessee team they lost to….interesting take there.

If you actually watch the games, you'll notice that Tennessee schemes are there in the first half of games. Just can't execute. Nico missed 4 wide open receivers in the first half. Also, can't turn the ball over 3 times in one half, with two of those coming in the redzone.

Oh and another thing, Tennessee fan actually lose to UGA and still get in. So that statement is completely false. In fact, ESPN stats project a loss and a playoff birth for the Vols. Do more research before writing dribble.

Thats a pretty bold claim considering you almost lost to Kentucky, and lost to the team who just lost to Vandy. I don't think there is truly an SEC team out there right now who looks "formidable" outside Texas (and they haven't even played anyone yet).

They didn’t need to lol. The adjustments made at halftime was to control the clock and not keep playing D. They had 98 total yards after the 3rd quarter and at one point went 10 straight plays without gaining a yard. Literally everyone who watched that game and knows football realized this. I forgot though, how many points did UGA score on Kentucky after those halftime adjustments 2 weeks ago?

Tennessee winning gives Alabama a better SOS which bolsters their resume. A loss this weekend and a loss to UGA and that win doesn’t look as impressive anymore.

Completely agree. LSU got blown out by TN and UGA. Lost to A&M. Barely beat Ark. Beat an average ole miss team and then beat an average Purdue in bowl game.
Aside from Bama win, Kelly tends to get blown out by coaches and teams that are better than him. To make matters worse, Norvell completely out-coached him in second half.
This team is 8-4 at best.

Do I think Tennessee was dealing with some internal issues on defense when they played SC? Yes.
Do I also think SC is one of the hottest teams in CFB? Yes.
That being said, I think both teams are on an upward trajectory. I think SC has a chance at unseating LSU FOR the citrus bowl too.

If it comes to down LSU and Tennessee, head to head would come in to play. That might be the most single significant factor of all the metrics. If you don’t use that, then what is the point?
The committee already has proven they don’t value conference champs over head to head 2 times now.
Handle a loss? There are more trolls and posts from UGA fans than TN fans by far. You would think after years of having great players you would handle a win. But no, still have that inferiority complex…

And all that rambling to not admit Tennessee gets in with a TCU loss…it’s a perfect setup for Tennessee actually. They have the best loss and some of the best wins of any team in cfb.
Also, consider they have an easy schedule to finish season and lots of other teams have a tough schedule.
Unless UGA loses, Tennessee gets in.
