Sasse was a terrible president and that has nothing to do with politics. He did not engage with faculty, his office blew through piles of cash doing no one knows what, he hired friends for made-up positions and paid them ridiculous salaries and let them work remotely from across the country. He gave speeches where no one in the audience had a clue what he was saying because he didn't either. It is not political to say that the guy had no real understanding of how to run a large university and committed low-level grift during his short and pointless tenure, which not coincidentally has left us in the position of having the country's worst AD, one of the worst football coaches, and, of course, Golden, with very little we can do about it until the board of trustees, which itself is full of questionable appointees with little relevant experience, finally gets around to replacing him. Hopefully this time they commit an actual search instead of just picking a do-nothing technobabbling Senator. Kudos to the Alligator for exposing both Sasse and Golden for who they are.

I'm done attending any UF sports, I'm done with NIL, I won't even go to the museum, until Stricklin is gone. Three(!!!) coaches mistreating women, and the only coach he has hired that seems to know what she is doing he backed into when he had to fire her boss for...mistreating women. Zooming out, let's not even get started on what a disaster the incurious and incompetent Sasse and his band of consultants were, what with their low level grift and complete ignorance of UF's culture and needs. It all needs to be blown up. Stricklin needs to go, Billy needs to go, Golden needs to go.
