Brian Kelly responds to question of potential QB change for LSU
Agreed. Nuss needs to start taking the easier route more. Throw it away, tuck and run a few yards, throw the ball short to the higher percentage option. He tries to push it deep too often.
Agreed. Dawgs lost to tough teams on the road. Losing this one at home closes the door.
As mentioned, Dawgs control their path in. This weeks ranking was definitely based on who the committee thinks is currently “the best team”, not best resume.
Wasn’t that the criticism with Bobo under Richt? Why bring him back?
We can chant it, but $60 million stops it actually happening. BK needs to sure up the D. Let’s see if he can.
Blake Baker’s game plan should have been stop Milroe from running after that A&M game. He beats you throwing, well that’s what he had to do to win. But that D just handed it to Milroe on a platter. BK’s staff continues to be out coached.
When it leads to a flag being picked up, worth a shot! Blame the refs in the UT UGA game.
The field storming needs to stop too. Including LSU after OMiss… just sad
Most HC’s hold their players accountable in real time when they mess up. Different ways to approach it, but Kirby comes to mind as another one that gets animated. Pretty sure those recruits are still pouring in.
Can’t trade TD opportunities for missed FG’s. Kicker shouldn’t even be given the chance to miss. Not closing out drives…
The amount of flags being thrown in SEC is taking away from the game. A bad call, but you can’t overturn it after watching the video board…
The fall off in player discipline is apparent, but replacing Saban is impossible. First yr at a new program and add on figuring out how to coach in the new SEC NIL era.
This was his worst game of the season. He tried to push the ball deep too often and it shows in the completion percentage. But his composure when faced with adversity shined again down the stretch.
No one read this rambling of a reply
LSU played soft coverage.. understandable with a poor secondary. BUT YOU HAVE TO TACKLE THE GUY WHEN HE CATCHES THE BALL IN FRONT OF YOU. The amount of missed tackles and poor angles led to many big plays for ole miss.
1)UGA
2)Mich
3)TCU
4)Ohio St
How do you penalize a perfect TCU for losing to #10 team, in the conference champ, in overtime? USC lost to Utah twice now, so they don’t deserve it.
I think Tenn should be over Bama as well, but committee is factoring in Hooker being out.
BK needs to make the guys understand they just painted a giant target on their back. The remaining opponents have nothing to lose and will give everything they got. New plays, new schemes, trick plays, and a whole lotta fight. Upsetting LSU is their championship.
As long as BK keeps the team focused and executing the way they have been, it’s a showdown in ATL against the SEC beast.
Agree. A few years premature. UGA is hot, but can it turn into a dynasty? TBD. Kirby is definitely on the right road.
But we have some recency bias here. Just like, “2022 Tenn is 2019 LSU” ?
Let’s give it some time. Bama is definitely down this yr and I think the dynasty is over. Saban will continue to win and I think he wins another natty before it’s all said and done, but the dominance over college football is over.
There’s always a hot team and that’s UGA, but let’s see if Kirby truly turns it into a dynasty. I think Kelly, Heupel, and even Kiffin can disrupt the dynasty run.
Very much agree. I think the only reason Kelly went with him as QB1 over Brennan is bc our Oline is awful(much improved from week 1 tho). He needed athletic QB, not a passer.
Tigers will always play hard and the talent is there. Loved seeing the second half effort from the team. Oline needs to continue to improve so Daniels feels more comfortable and doesn’t feel the need to always scramble.
If Daniels can learn to keep the throw as an option while scrambling, he can be an elite qb. That’s what made Burrow impossible to stop.
Feel like ST will be our downfall throughout the season. But hope Kelly can change that.
You may be right, but let’s check back in 4 years. Jimbo just lost to a freshman LSU team with a lame duck HC focused on his beach trip after the game.
Aranda continues to impress. Time for a real test, but I think Aranda pulls it off. He is very good at creating a gameplan with what talents he is given.
Unless he can get a $10-$15 millon insurance policy for being drafted outside of the 2020 first round, he gives up too much to return for a senior year. He should go and every LSU fan understands and appreciates his dedication to this program. Devin White has given his all and will go down as one of the greatest of all time.
Looks like TAMU shoves LSU assistant. Attempts to break up the encounter by everyone. Same TAMU guy throws punch, LSU player responds with a punch. So, this still all starts with TAMU.
If Bama was to lose to LSU in Baton Rouge and miss the SEC championship they still get in only if UGA wins the SEC. The committee will not put a rematch in the playoff (Assuming LSU wins the SEC).
This is whay Bama made it last year. They had not played UGA last season, so the committee put them in with one loss above the other one losses.
I still can’t believe this game isn’t a 6 or 7 o’clock game in Death Valley
You forgot Southern Cal
LOL UT fans talking about other programs
Mayfield is athletic as hell, but we saw what really matters this game. Fromm stayed calm and loose the entire game, while Mayfield was hoopin and hollarin the whole first half. Then in the second half when UGA defense was shutting him down, he was distraught and it showed. The QB position is 50% mind and Fromm won there

Who’s four ahead of bama? An ohio state team with an embarassing lose to OU at home and blown out against Iowa?
