John Schlarman RIP was the heart and soul of the Wildcats and the Big Blue Wall. He has proved to be irreplaceable.. Hopefully we will find another person that embodies the BBN like Coach Schlarman. If you want to know why we have taken a step backward, it is because of his untimely death. We will find another to lead us, but unless you knew John, you cannot understnd the loss we had and that still affects us to this day.

Another explanation is that we over estimated our O-line with a QB starting his second game and laid an egg against SC. UGA is more like the team we’ve been with Stoops and UGA, although they made mistakes, played better than all y’all think against a tougher than you’re willing to credit UK. We’ll find out this weekend against Ole Miss and UGA/Bama. Everyone disses UK saying the opponent is no good and in a down year when we win and buries us when we have an off night and lose. I was at the UGA game and UGA mistakes aside, we competed physically like a high caliber SEC squad. It’s a tough climb from middle of the pack to the top tier in the SEC. If anyone watched that game, they saw a physical, aggressive SEC defense against UGA. UGA’s center hurt them as did penalties but I believe Smart will have them ready to beat the Tide. And Go Cats!

The only reason SC won two years ago is Levis was injured. Last year, we played poorly and were down. This year looks much different, much like the years we won 6 in a row. Beamer is a cheerleader with a lisp. He runs on emotion but that only carries a team so far. He's in over his head and should have been a HC at a lower level first. Early success made him even more arrogant than he already was when he arrived.
