I am 74 and have had season tickets since my wife and I graduated in 1974 from UK. There was always hope even in the worst of times with these guys that give it all on the field each and every practice, Saturday and in Bowl games if they get to that level. I seriously am over with my love of this program until we get a younger offense minded coach. This basic up the middle basic play footballing the Red Zone is old school and reeks of Stoops, not his OC. Boise State never had that issue in the Red Zone last year. He can deny he doesn't get involved with offensive calls but he is trying to save face. Most High School coaches could call better plays. I will miss my fans where we sit and the years we had joy and pain here, but no more for me. Sold all my current season tickets and parking passes. I will not renew any season tickets next year until dough boy out of shape Stoops is gone to sell his terrible tasting over priced Bourbon for more than bottom shelf that taste better.

I don't see UK wining 5 games. 4 and 8 is more reasonable with What I saw in Gainesville Saturday. Auburn...no. Louisville....no Murray State..maybe!!

Over the years since Fran Curci, Jerry Claiborne,Bill Curry, Hall Mumme, Rich Brooks and Joker Phillips I have had season tickets. This season is the last straw for me with the old school pudgy coach Stoops that over rides his offensive coordinators calls. His or whoever is the offensive play mastermind all year is the most predictable in the SEC. Boise State had a fun to watch scoring offense last year and we now have the OF of that team. Stoops must be calling the red zone plays. AU should win this game and my $ is on them. UK won't score 16 points.

I am curious if you can state the State of Kentucky's annual budget compared to Stoops buyout.

UK Athletic Director seems happy with mediocrity by awarding Stoops $8.6M annually with an extended contract through June 2031. Looks like he will be making $1.7M a win with the 5 and 7 record we are approaching. Has to be the best college football coaching job in the US.

I think he is too depressed like most that saw that poorly coached and played game. Glad the Vols showed up and look to be in money for a showdown with UGA for the East. My prediction was maybe 6 wins if we beat USC. Now it is 3 wins if that effort continues.

Do not underestimate this Florida team and the talent it has. One game does not make a season. Maybe a young talented QB that just needs several games to get rolling will make a huge difference.

One game does not make a season. Florida has recruited more talent than half the teams in the SEC. If Napier gets them playing to their ability they will be fine this season. If not, maybe the CATS can squeeze out another win in the swamp.

Just shaking my head and laughing. This Oskie thing seems to be everyone on here. Good for the Razorbacks. I think they will surprise a lot with a much better season than last year. Pittman is a great person and coach. Petrino knows offense better than most and it looks like he hasn't lost his touch with the right talent.

Waituntil, I feel the same as you about the way things are going in college football these days. As 40 plus year fans that pay so much for season tickets not loose our precious seats and fans around us we have been through so much over the years of the ups and downs, we have a right to express anger now and then. As for the game next week with UK and USC, it still will be a good one and both have a 1 and 0 record. A win is a win in my opinion regardless of the competition. Hope neither of our teams have any serious injuries. God Bless.

Pope will do fine at UK. Just wait and see.

Cal brought all his assistants that underachieved with roll the ball out and let our5's win. No close game coaching at all. Good luck in close games and fun in Rupp when all the guys from the 96 NCAA Championship will be siting on the bench with Pope's team next year.

It is in my opinion the best hire. I did not think this until I researched Pope's history as a coach. I am a huge happy fan now.
