it's been a bumpy ride on the Mizzou bandwagon this season eh Adam?
Lane DID NOT import that basket of squirrels... right Lane? Lane?.. LANE?
Sad for Mizzou and Connor, he was consistently one of the top rated centers in the country(by pro scouts) and was on the Rimington watch list. Get well Connor.
It was boomer Stoops and OU director Boren along with Texas AD Deloss Dodd that all said they were happy when Mizzou and A&M left for the SEC.. it was their attitudes that made decision an easy choice for Mizzou. and while Pinkels Tigers didnt have a great record w/ them he did give OU that 2010 beating when they(OU)were ranked #1, and followed it with a win over bevo the following year.
Pyne stepped up in the pocket a few times and found the right target, he also threw the ball away a few time when he needed to instead of taking a sack.. both things Cook has always struggled at.
Drake's a veteran, he'll know how to get himself ready for Sat, just need Drew Pyne to keep playing like he finished the game, could surprise the naysayers who claim Mizzou has no chance vs Scar.
Drinky needs to put himself on a social media timeout, for say 2 or 3 months.
gotta say the boys really came through for us! Good Job Tigers!
the path forward for Mizzou is pretty simple, win out and let the rest take care of itself. not making the playoffs will be disappointing but back to back 10 win+ seasons aren't a catastrophe.
", but injuries to Brady Cook have really hampered what was thought to be 1 of the best offenses in the country." nope, you're just dead wrong, there is hardly any difference in Cook from last year to this, BEFORE his so called injury.. the team was carried by Schraeder and a great defense last year. Amazing how few actually realize this.
the overall officiating in the game was abysmal but then it's the SEC so aren't we all used to it?
you dont seem to understand there is very little difference between cook and rest of the qb bench.. 5 years and Dinklditz has developed ZERO QBs...
"Both Missouri and Alabama are in desperate need of a victory this weekend." yes Spenser, it's win or go home for both teams now.
well thats easily understandable as a fan of a team thats a good QB away from being a good team.
think about this, I'm not the one who coined it"inept offense" that was the SDS writer.. maybe take it to the management, Karen.
The lead changes in that game alone made it worth watching, not sure wth that guy is talking about..
Wright seems like another TEN/acc fan who is peeved he has to write about the SEC. Really wish he could get his way and just... NOT BE HERE.
"Rudy" is such a great comparison.. all try hard,, heart .. whatever, no talent.
"...watching your quarterback enter the game after being in the hospital to save an inept offense" yea but why is that offense "inept" in the first place? is it bad coaching? the RB's even sans Nate Noel played a good game, and Luper is arguably the one competent position coach on the team. Mizzou has good receivers pouring out the door, and the line manages to do its job much of the time. Cook ran himself off the field and when he came back seemed just fine running for a 2 point conversion,, maybe it's the pain killers, based on his post game, seems likely. So who is coming to snatch Kirby Moore away to run their team? Inept offense indeed.
meanwhile the defense and running game pretty much saved it, but yea sure, cook a hero... lol
next lesser player up,, right hugh freeze?
no strancharm,, you see we know you dholes thing EVERYTHING is about jawga,, but it really isn't. Could have been Bama could have been Vandy playing UMASS in a few weeks, it just happened to be you.. btw.. gratz on that 10 points you hung on the last place conference team.. must feel good after that az whoopin NOT Sabans boys put on you.
no, not what I was doing at all, not comparing anyones SOS schedule you inbred red dirt hillbilly..
"Chris Wright is oblivious." media types, all media types esp sports boi's, live in their own bubble,,, complaining about Mizzou playing a team that mighty UGA is going to play in a few weeks... but let's not tell him.
Kiffin understands the media are dogs and should be treated as such... one of his better qualities.
I would say the fixes are relatively simple: Teams get 2 injury TOs per half, after that it costs a regular TO for injury stoppage, if no TOs are left its a delay of game... OR each injury stoppage the player is out for the remainder of the series or the remainder of the half, shouldnt be hard to watch but I'm sure every SEC team can find a QA assistant to keep track of opposing players as well as their own.
"whoever stole Brady Cook and Kirby Moore and replaced them with the guys we’re watching this year, " they literally look just like the same as last year, you just didn't notice how much they got bailed out by Cody Schraeder and the Defense..
". Luther Burden III needs to get right mentally. " i see, so the problem isn't an inept QB...
"Alabama lost to Vandy, Tennessee lost to Arkansas, Ole Miss lost to Kentucky. " so... moral victory?
