The catch helped fuel a big time run by the Longhorns, as they scored 21 unanswered points to take a commanding lead against the Commodores.
It has been a big time response by Texas, who was dominated in last week’s huge matchup against the Georgia Bulldogs.
This matchup wouldn’t have been a big time game at the beginning of the year, but the Commodores are 1 of the most surprising teams in college football. They entered this game at 5-2, and possess 1 of the biggest upsets of the season when they beat Alabama earlier in the season.
The Longhorns have been in control for the majority of the first half, and looks to get the win and get back on the winning track heading into their home game against Florida next week.
