Xavier Worthy pays up on Georgia-Texas bet with Mecole Hardman
Xavier Worthy is off to a pretty good start in the NFL, as he has scored 4 touchdowns in his first 6 games while helping the Kansas City Chiefs be the only 6-0 team in the NFL.
Before the NFL, he was a star at Texas, where he finished his career with 197 catches for 2,755 yards and 26 touchdowns. Last Saturday night, Worthy like millions across the country was watching the huge SEC matchup between Texas and Georgia.
Another receiver on the Chiefs is Mecole Hardman, who was a star in his own right at Georgia.
It appears the 2 made a bet on the game, because Worthy was sporting some Georgia attire in a photo posted to Hardman’s social media.

Hardman had himself a pretty good football weekend. First, the Bulldogs went to Austin and dominated the Longhorns by a score of 30-15.
Then, in the Chiefs game against the San Francisco 49ers, Hardman had 1 of his best outings in a long time, as he finished with 110 all-purpose yards and 1 touchdown. His 55-yard punt return helped the Chiefs start to pull away from the 49ers for a 28-18 victory.
There is the potential for these 2 speedy receivers to make this bet again this year, as the Longhorns and Bulldogs could see each other at least 1 more time this year.
