Boy howdy! I’m nervous and excited. Vols have a huge challenge on the road with noise and that Georgia defense. Please sweet baby Jesus pick the Vols just this once to win in Athens

The Dawgs offense vs the Vols defense will be the main event. Absolutely no one, including the Tennessee beat writers give the Vols a chance. I’m rooting hard for my Vols but have no idea how they will play on the road at night. Here’s to hoping for a fast start.

Our D line will leave its mark on this game.

I guess the Vols as an almost 9 point underdawg( pun intended) should just count themselves as lucky to get to play UGA considering absolutely no one gives them a chance. As long as Carson Beck is QB and that paltry running attack and porous offensive line are starting for the Dawgs………. You know it,I know it and the coaches know it. Tennessee has an above average chance vs a mediocre Georgia team

If Vols win the turnover battle and Dylan gets to 100 yards, Tennessee has a good chance. I love the saying “defense travels”. Vols defense will give the offense a fair shot to win. How aggressive will the offense be Saturday. Cannot just go run, run, pass, punt. Any Vols fans both excited and nervous and cannot wait? LFG!

I was texting with some Bama and UGA friends on a thread we have I said “ Nico is out for the 2nd half with an injury” My UGA friend replied” I’d rather Nico be okay and have Dylan Sampson be injured for next week in Athens” I replied “ As long as Beck starts Tennessee will be happy” Friendly humor of course

Vols struggle in the red zone, our tackles are soft and get beat often putting pressure on the QB. Just put on the tape when Tennessee went to Fayetteville. Can the Vols win next week. It’s possible. Our defense is elite and pressure the QB all game. If Nico doesn’t play, it will be tough sledding

Vols offensive struggles are so exasperating each week. CJH has an elite defense for once in his life and the offense is pedestrian at best. Dear sweet baby Jesus, please intervene with the Vols tepid offense

UGA has won more than the Vols lately and are dominating again. Heupel is closing the talent gap. Bash the Vols all you want bc Tennessee has a top 5 collective and more than enough money. You better hope Nico doesn’t figure it out before Vols come to Athens, bc if he starts connecting with our WRs we are gonna stomp a mudhole in your arses

LegU, The Vols certainly have some holes on both sides of the ball. Offensively IF Nico just hits 70% of the open WRs Tennessee can make some noise in the 12 team playoffs. That being said, Tennessee could lose to UK and Vandy. Vols will go as far as Nico takes them imho.

I keep telling myself our QB will finally figure it out. I keep saying our offense can’t stay this bad all season Our defense is elite Am I asking for too much?

My son and I flew cross country to watch the Vols. Worst offensive display against a mediocre Florida team that I watched in the 40 years I’ve been going to Neyland. The “offensive” line ( see literal interpretation) is upending any chance Vols have at success. Thank God for the defense. If anyone is unsure how we stole a former 5star LT from LSU….now we know. I’m worried about Vandy and UK as I sit waiting to fly home. Sweet Baby Jesus, please help our helpless offense.

Vols for better or worse have played Bama and UGA every year since forever it seems Catching 2 top 5 teams which are often playing for or winning Nattys annually gives us our annual “ Cup Check” This year Tennessee has a good chance to secure a win against either.

Texas will probably beat UGA October 19th. Vols for once in about the last 25 years have a more complete team than UGA. Doesn’t mean Vols will win in Athens If you’re honest though, Bama and Georgia have to know this Vols defense ain’t an easy out Happy Bama will be undefeated when they come to Knoxville

Being a Tennessee Vols fan right now is pure joy. Everything we've endured since the early 2000's makes this all the more fulfilling. Can you imagine how great the recruiting will be if we keep it up and finish strong. Excited to fly in from Los Angeles to my home state of Tennessee for the Florida game with my 17 year old son. Go Vols

I have all the concerns previously mentioned plus OU has a nasty defense. I would also take a 1 point win I’d prefer a 35 point win and no injuries

8-4 or 10-2 for Vols seems reasonable. NC State and Oklahoma will let Vol fans know. Nico and the offense will be an embarrassment of riches compared to the Joe Milton disaster. The secondary as most believe will be pivotal for our defense.

Disappointed? Yes. Anxious? Yes. Hopeful? Most certainly No fan base wants to be bounced as the #1 seed twice in 3 years at home My hope is our pitching depth coupled with home field will see the Vols clinch It would be a chance for everyone to pile on Fingers crossed
