Dylan Sampson has more rushing yards than all players on Georgia's team combined. TN has 1000 more rushing yards this season than Georgia. That is a substantial difference with 3 games left to play and GA being known for their strong running game.

If TN's defense wasn't playing top notch football this year, TN would be 5-4 right now, at best. I think Beck not playing good football and Etienne being out are going to be the biggest concerns for GA. Playing in Athens and Nico potentially being out are TN's biggest concerns IMO.

As much as I like those numbers, you have to take this into account. Georgia played Kentucky and Bama away and Florida at a neutral site. TN got all three of those games at home. It makes a difference. Just like this Saturday being in Athens will make a difference.

They are at home, at night, coming off a loss which always seems to motivate them, you're in a do or die situation, and Nico might not step onto the field. Also. Get with your QB. 7 is a fair spot. It's fair for Penn State to be above TN. Losing to Arkansas should make you take a bigger hit in the rankings than losing to Ohio State. No need to come on here and justify it. It makes sense.

Neither TN or Georgia can play a first half of football to save their lives. I was talking to a friend of mine that's a Georgia fan Saturday night and we agreed that the TN/GA game in two weeks should just start after half time. Don't even worry about the first 30 minutes. Won't be worth watching anyway.

If the TN offense can't get anything clicking, it won't matter how well the defense plays. TN needs to be putting up points in bunches and stop with the multitude of dumb penalties.

Ron, I could be wrong but he might be referring to TN not having a player up on the Heisman board right now even though Dylan Sampson is one of the best players in the country. Ever since Peyton lost the Heisman to Charles Woodson, TN hasn't had a Heisman candidate. I'm not sitting here saying they've had a bunch of options since Peyton, cause they most definitely have not, but there have been a few players (Hooker, Sampson) that deserved to be in the conversation. As of today, Sampson has more receiving yards, the same number of touchdowns, and 591 less yards than Mark Ingram did the year he won the Heisman and he has 5 more games to play.

I think Deboer will be coaching in the NFL within 3-4 years. Not saying he's a bad coach, I just think he's overhyped and he's not prepared for the SEC. Yeah, he has a good win/loss record overall, but you have to dig deeper than face value. He took over an already good Sioux Falls team to start his career and then moved from good team to good team. During his time at Sioux Falls, Ryan Grubb showed up and became his OC. Grubb followed DeBoer at every stop until he got to Bama. Grubb was the brains of the offense on those DeBoer teams. I think this is the best team DeBoer will ever have during his time at Bama. Saban left him a lot of good pieces to play with and he's struggling. He showed all of his cards in the Georgia game. They won but at a cost.

What a game. Play calling was terrible in the first half. Nico has more than a few issues he needs to sort out. Defense is solid. Both teams gave it all they had. Texas looks like the best and most complete team in the SEC.

It definitely is. I've struggled with BVS (Battered Vol Syndrome) for over 20 years. It's a struggle. Especially when I get things like PTFLSBS added to it. The only thing that helps is more than a few solid pours of that good spicy brown water. Then...you really just don't give a s-hit.
