SEC Week 12 Primer: Down to its last strike, Georgia’s survival means dragging Tennessee back to the pack
It wouldn't surprise me at all if South Carolina won a playoff game.
I think Nussmeier let success go to his head. He throws picks because he is overconfident and because he believes he has to carry the team. He needs to settle down and take what the defense gives him, and in this case the Florida defense should give him more than enough.

I don't understand why some fans say bowl games don't matter. When you are trying to develop talent, every practice and every game matters. Bowl games are especially helpful because of so many extra practices.
Rogue booster. Hard to blame the program for a booster like that. But, whatever. LSU will just have to win the next three to get back to 34.
LSU won the games on the field. You can't go back and play them again, and if you did, LSU would win them again.
I have to pick Georgia. They should be a bit disgruntled after getting blindsided by Ole Miss, and this is must-win for them.
"The Gators hold a narrow series lead"
Where did you read that? The series is 34-33-3, and LSU is the one with 34 wins.
"No layups in this league."
Except the schedule the SEC handed to you.
With that schedule, I don't see how he can comment on an SEC schedule.
He didn't have to clarify it for me. I agree that South Carolina should be ranked higher than LSU.
You have LSU ranked too high. Move South Carolina up a notch.
LSU is overrated.
Congrats, Ole Miss. Impressive win.
Jeff Landry is a dumbass, and the rest of the country gets a reminder of how backwards Louisiana can be. Whether they are outraged or amused, I don't blame them.
Yeah, so da U is back.
Having said that, if your OL doesn't protect Dart better than they did against LSU, it will be a long afternoon for the Rebels.
All true. Kiffin is a good head coach, and his record shows it. I think Georgia better bring their A game. They could be on upset alert.
Should have put an asterisk next to Mizzou. They could win without Cook, but I think Oklahoma wins if Cook can't go.

I see no reason to start this again.
"Fournette was one of the best running backs in LSU history, totaling 32 games played. He carried the ball 32 times for 3,830 yards with 40 touchdowns."
40 TDs on 32 carries. I knew he was good, but that's incredible.
I've been told that Marcel Reed beat LSU, and that's partly true. It was Nussmeier's interceptions that put Reed in position to beat LSU. Had he thrown the ball away, A&M would have had to make much longer drives. They may still have made those drives, or maybe not, but Nussmeier made it easier for them. He needs to play smarter against Alabama.
No, it looks like the storm won't hit Louisiana. But the Weather Channel is showing 70% chance of rain. Hopefully that won't happen.
I don't think so, but we'll find out.
Not unless there's all kinds of chaos.
It seems right that these two teams are playing an elimination game. No idea who will win this game. O'Gara failed to mention that Kelly is unbeaten in night games at Tiger Stadium, so I'll pick the home team. But the extended forecast says 60% chance of rain during the day and 70% Saturday night. Wet conditions favor Alabama, I think, because of Milroe's running ability. Wet or not, LSU might want to use Whit Weeks as a QB spy.
I was not aware that Indiana plays Ohio State. In that case, Indiana will drop out after that game.
Yes, I am aware of that. I think the power conference champions are teams that are already ranked higher than LSU, which leaves the G5 champion. So I'm thinking Indiana and Alabama (if LSU wins out) will drop out.
