Real marquee win there OU struggled against two group of five schools. They will get better but they need a year.

That stifling defense was going up against an o-line that was starting 2 third stringers a second stringer due to injuries blocking for a true freshman qb with a hobbled #1 receiver and the #2 receiver out of the game entirely.

Pete (3rd and long) Golding is going to cost Ole Miss at least 2 games. The talent he wasted at Bama was criminal. It’s a shame because Kiffin has the offense and the schedule to have a heck of a season. A staff change will help for sure, but the talent is still lacking on the D line and in the secondary. The staff change isn’t improving the roster. Can they develop yes, but I don’t think it’s going to be a meteoric rise.
