ESPN's SEC broadcasts dominate Week 11 ratings across multiple time slots
ESPN and the SEC more often than not are going to be on top of the ratings when it comes to how many people are watching the games, and Week 11 was no different. There were some marquee games in all of the time slots, and ESPN won all 4 Week 11 Windows, including 3 windows with SEC matchups involved.
The most-watched game this week was between Alabama and LSU. There were 7.9 million viewers watching as the Crimson Tide dominated the Tigers, winning by a 42-13 score. Jalen Milroe rushed for 185 yards and 4 touchdowns in the win.
That was the primetime game of the week, but right behind it was the earlier time slot matchup between Georgia and Ole Miss with 7.4 million viewers. In that matchup, Ole Miss upset Georgia 28-10, with the defensive line dominating the game with 5 sacks.
The win finally gave Lane Kiffin the marquee coaching victory he was looking for during time in Oxford. The peak in both of those games reached 8 million viewers while the primetime game in Death Valley peaked at 9.7 million viewers.

While it wasn’t a competitive game, Texas and Florida still had 3.9 million viewers. The Longhorns were in complete control of that game, as they took a 35-0 halftime lead en route to the 49-17 victory.
The biggest upset of the weekend was Georgia Tech and Miami with the Yellow Jackets knocking off the Hurricanes 28-23. This game was the No. 4 most-viewed game this weekend with an average of 3.5 million viewers. Cam Ward tried to add to his Heisman Trophy candidacy but fumbled the ball late as the Hurricanes tried to come back late.

The late-game window matchup featured Utah and BYU, and that game delivered one of the best performances for a late-night game this year at 2.1 million viewers. That’s the 3rd most viewed late-night slot this season as fans got to turn into arguably the most controversial ending in Week 11.
