100% disagree about Milroe. Love the guy and his energy, but Simpson would be slinging the ball all over the place to receivers and Bama would be crushing. It has taken ALL SEASON for Sheridan to stop playing with all the toys BoB left behind and figure out that Jalen is good for 1 or MAXIMUM 2 reads, then dump/throw away/take off. Uga has the worst group of starting receivers I’ve ever seen. Can’t get open, can’t catch, can’t block, can’t run routes…but sure Beck is the problem.

A 10-2 record would certainly be nothing to sneeze at if some of the top 12 teams start to falter; but the CFB committee needs a marquee win if the schedule is as weak as Mizzou’s and, well…the schedule is terrible, as are the two losses. But I’d say Mizzou has at worst at 3% chance of making CFB playoffs (and maybe at best a 10% chance). RTR!!!

I’m not sure what can be taken from the Bama win: Mizzou was already overrated and losing qb1 & rb1 took away any hope. Milroe is still not the qb for this system. I like Jalen. He seems like a fun kid. But he is not a passing qb and this offense needs one. Bama defense faced no real tests and looked fine. RTR!!!

I do get his point, though: Mizzou was extremely limited and Bama should’ve had their way with them…which they did after they quit derping around. My hope is we are seeing a return to the Bama mindset of dominating the opponent. No way we hang with LSU if we play soft. RTR!!!

I have heard coaches allude to severe slippage of standards: things like tardiness, dress standards, class attendance, in-game behavior…I mean, I get there is more than one way to create a winning culture but there is certainly a corollary between high standards everywhere and allowing mediocrity to slowly creep into “unimportant” things which filter into the whole attitude. Whatever. If DeBoer isn’t the guy, we will know in a few years. I simply don’t believe what we are seeing now is indicative of how he wants to run the program but he is kind of “stuck” with this group and their need to be constantly yelled at to keep their shizz together. It is what it is.
