Tim Tebow explains why Georgia is still one of the country’s best
Smart needs to clean house starting with the offensive coaching staff. QB, OL, and WR play this year are inexcusably bad. Open field tackling, gap discipline, and DB play in general are all also poor. I get that college football teams will always have a game or two that's closer than it should be, but we have far too much talent to struggle like we have.
Getting beat by UGA repeatedly sure has done a number of your psyche. Usually the goal is to not let your opponent see how much they've torqued you internally.
One of the two teams you’ve mentioned lost to unranked Vandy. But please keep talking about being soft.
I completely agree with this list. I'm hoping to see major changes to the coaching staff.
808, prove it. If it's been said many times, then provide links. You can't though because you're either referring to various comment sections, which are a treasure trove of objective truth, or CFB talking heads who have no actual knowledge about the program.
I totally agree
Bennett was a dual threat quarter back, even if that wasn't his official classification. He did a lot of scrambling at key times. It was just not common that the OC would call designed QB runs.
I agree, Beck cost UGA the Bama and Ole Miss games.
I completely agree. A bunch of people with unknown levels of CFB knowledge constructing a ranking based off their own eye-balling of the teams makes this a bit of a farce. The rankings need to be based on objective criteria and actual data. Committee should only oversee the process of applying computer-based rankings and provide a tie breaker-like role.
So far, this is one of the poorer rankings from any committee. I agree with Finebaum.
UGA's schedule is significantly harder than Penn State's, Indiana's, BYU's, ND's, Miami's, and Ohio State's.
Spenser you are completely wrong to say it's hard to argue with that reasoning. Look at the average defenses that Penn State, Indiana, BYU and ND have gone against. It's easy to have your offense look good when they've played mostly bad defenses. Warde's explanation is shockingly amateurish.
There's no reasonable justification for having Penn State at no. 4 and Indiana at no. 5. They have not beaten anyone of note and should not be in the top 5.
I'm not so sure I agree about the QBs next season, JTF. But you are spot on about the OL and running game.
Unless Georgia's offense figures things out, UGA is probably not winning this one.
I don't do that regularly at all. Again, what are you even talking about? You're just making things up because you seem to want to characterize me as a troll for some odd reason. Why engage in an intellectually honest conversation when you can complain about people writing comments on websites and accuse them of trolling, right?
Athletes have the ability to earn NIL but they are not obligated to be paid or earn certain amounts. Changing eligibility rules due to arguments of NIL earnings is ridiculous. I hope he loses this case and I'll no longer be cheering for him this season.
PETA has no moral authority to demand anyone to do anything.
Yeah, you can't just make up your own definition of trolling. Also, if non-Bama fans commenting on Bama articles upsets you this deeply, maybe you're just not cut out to be a college football fan. Also, I replied to a conversation that was in progress. I didn't start anything. What are you even talking about?
What has Tennessee accomplished this century that imbues you with such cockiness?
Kid, I've been here since 2017. Losing two games and missing the playoffs won't change that. But I'm also not the one crowing like an idiot.
In specific matters of funding, the source of the money is the key variable not economic concepts such as fungibility
Exactly. The money used for paying Napier is from an entirely different source than NIL funds.
Will you still show up if Tennessee loses to UGA and/or doesn't make the playoffs?
None of this is legally binding. Stricklin could just be doing this to preserve the Gator's recruiting class. Firing a head coach now would likely see the class Napier built deeply raided by other programs.
No SEC team has secured a spot as of now.
"often chokes"
From the 2021 season through last Saturday UGA is 49-3.
