It seems clear it’s either Kirby is being a bit too loyal or the others in his view just aren’t close to as good, otherwise a switch or “sit down” would be in play. If the latter is true, Kirby won’t hesitate to bring in a big timer via portal. And going out on a limb but the Beck come back option isn’t in play. Hush Nick. You and other coaching greats that make these “be supportive and patient” statements ironically makes a fan base less supportive and more impatient. Deboer is supposed to be a big boy getting paid $10M to deal with your lunatic and unrealistic fan base. He’s your Mark Richt, your Larry Coker, your Ron Zook. But guess what? The coaching in this league keeps getting better and Nick would have lost more than what he did. And this only amplifies the job King Kirby is doing when other coaches quit (Little Nikki) or get fired (Jimbo, Coach O). Fact it: Deboer is a dud, a slow coach in a fast car coaches league. By this time next year, your little nerd AD will be reaching out to coaches.

Not so fast to call it over at all. UGA will give Texas a real game next week and there are some key areas why: Horns only avg. 34 on O line and 285 on D Line. UGA should be able to reestablish both lines of scrimmage at impact. UGAs run game should be in a good place next Saturday. Additionally, who has Texas really faced: Oklahoma has no line play and an infant cube, Michigan has nothing this year as the cupboard is empty. Yes, Texas may win but I’m certainly not counting out Kirby and these Dawgs.

STLGator I think Stricklin needs to pull a Mal Moore and go up to Eugene and keep throwing urine from a wawa big cup - or whatever they have over there - on Dan Lannings wife’s flowers until she says “hey babe you gotta go talk to this guy” - and don’t leave without him. And if you don’t get him I’d suggest Bill O Brien; He seems brilliant scheme wise, turns things around quickly - which helps greatly with your hyper impatient fan base - and is highly competitive, I.e., won’t flinch against Kirby. Maybe he won’t recruit as well (no one does year in year out) but would seem his scheme ability would make up for it and get it close against UGA and others in the league.
