This might be the best defense Tennessee has faced. And it's on the road. Against a program with their backs to the wall for the CFP and SEC race. I was hoping they'd eliminate Ole Miss last week and roll in feeling strong. Instead, Georgia should be dialed up for this one. The path for Tennessee is that they must win on defense and special teams. With Nico banged up-and not hitting his stride even before the injury, I don't see the Vols offense marching the field. Full 4 quarter game that gets decided close by whoever has the ball last and makes a play.
So you're literally dwelling in the past, while accusing me of dwelling in the past. Got it.
Well at least he didn't run over anyone leaving the field. He didn't punch anyone.
Yeah, me too. They beat Michigan for the second time in 29 tries and it's skyrockets in flight. Sigh... Patience. All this will shake out in the wash. As for Tennessee, it's real simple; Win at Georgia.
Wow. Defeated Oklahoma 3 times since.... ......1984. That's...something. (slow clap)
Best wishes to the Bob. John Ward is the standard of excellence for this role and that's what we should be shooting for. Ward had a command of the language, he had energy, and his broadcast brought something extra to the game. I nominate Carlos Lopez. When Lopez is melting the microphone hollering, "DALE SEIS!!!", I'm on the edge of my seat. I'd rather listen to Juan Ward in Spanish before listening to Kesling in English. I'd rather learn Spanish to understand Lopez' broadcasts. That guy takes it to ELEVEN and makes it mean as much to you as it does to him.
Yep. Final rankings are the only ones that matter anyway. Tennessee has their chance to improve their standing. Just win baby!
If Diego Pavia is a great QB talent, then it's a fair question as to why he couldn't simply go to the NFL. The fact that NIL broke open while he was a player making his way out of juco to bigger programs isn't the NCAA's fault. Nothing against him, it just sounds like a real stretch of a case. Hugh Freeze must be making him an NIL offer right now.
Max Gilbert needs to meet George Cafego's ghost and get some motivation to put it through the uprights. Barring that, bring back Derrick Broadus. He's still got eligibility. He shall save us!!! Vols need to TCB and dispatch MSU early.
"... (yet) another golden opportunity for Lane Kiffin to break through against (Insert Elite Team Here)." That headline might be evergreen until 2040. Remember Dippin Dots-The Future of Ice Cream since 1994? If Lane Kiffin was an ice cream, he'd be dippin dots.
Seems to me that the best slot might be to come in at #5, miss the conference championship game and the opportunity to lose one more. Doesn't feel like a year where anyone is really dominant and just certain they're going to roll. For Tennessee, it's simple. Just Win Baby.
We're not living vicariously through Bama's descent. We're contributing to the descent.
Seems like the stadium would be glad for Florida fans wanting to stick around and watch this game. Why would staff get so twisted over the kids not having digital tickets? They're in the stadium already.
Well, fired is a good start. Prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law would be a better one.
Word. With the level of QB play we have right now, that's a great season for us. If we could get jusssst a little more production out of Nico though...
The last time SDS got an article 100% right, they got it all wrong.
"The following season, Fisher poached Kelly to be the defensive coordinator on his first Texas A&M staff. Kelly served under Fisher at A&M through the 2021 season before taking the head coaching job at Duke." Hey, SDS aren't politicians typing fast and Bee ESSing everybody...
"...the Commodores could beat the Vols by 30 in Nashville on Nov. 30." Really? I'll take the under on that all day long. Vandy isn't beating Tennessee by 30. They might not score 30 themselves. Tennessee's defense isn't an issue.
Come on Alabama....NEVER go full Dumpsterwitz! I mean, the next thing you know you'll be claiming that opponents pipe in nois....oh wait.
And just look at him now... The first 17 year old to lose in Neyland Stadium.
But wait....Kalen DeBoer ASSURED us that he was at WASHINGTON and he KNEW what noise was. Alabama had nothing to fear from noise at Tennessee. And Vandy had the least challenging stadium to play in too. So whether the stadium is loud/challenging or not, Alabama still lost. JUST GIVE MILROE THE HEISMAN!!! AND RYAN WILLIAMS IS A HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR!!!!
Another has been bammer QB desperately reaching after relevancy. Go back to being Kathryn Webb’s girlfriend.
Greg McElroy is really close to being relevant. Maybe he could chew some ice. We haven’t forgotten the rant about Vitello or the non-apology. Oh hey, Greg-How did you like Vitello coming out onto the field and celebrating? …again?
"Paul Finebaum identifies how Kalen DeBoer can win favor with Alabama fans" Win.
Pssh, whatever. I'd hardly call that STORMING the field.
But...but...but... I was ASSURED that it was ONLY Tennessee fans that would behave like this. And here Texas is trying to sling mustard and stuff! Psheeesh. ___ In all seriousness, it would help if officials wouldn't make such terrible calls. It would help if there was some oversight that enforced accountability. It would help if there were consequences for officials who made such horrible calls.
