I like basketball but can’t watch the regular season games it just bores me like baseball does. But, I do enjoy watching the tournament and since I don’t watch the regular season I have no clue who will beat who so that’s pretty fun.

Saban was a great coach who kept the winning tradition going and I’m sure Bama will not stop looking until they find a coach to continue the winning tradition. Nah, only for you. If they win they will have beaten the current champion and beaten the only team they lost to, no reason the committee should’ve put in FSU when they only met two of the four requirements in the guidelines. You know what isn’t a requirement being undefeated.

You cherry pic what you think matters in comparing them but it doesn’t work that way. Nick started at a small college and made them winners. He did that at every college until he came to Bama and he rebuilt them back into winners. Kirby is a great coach his daddy taught him well but he has less with more his first 8 years. He may pass Nick but I don’t think he will. And he will probably never have a winning record against Nick because Nick is going to retire before they can play that many times I would imagine. He is getting old.

Smart has a better record in his first 8 seasons but he inherited a program consistently at the top of the SEC and a load of talent. Little Nicky as you put it took over a program in bad shape. He did more faster with less talent than Smart by winning a title his third year. You can also look at head to head games and know who the GOAT is. UGA is where they are because Saban trained Smart, UGA is built by Bama but still not their equal.

There is supposed to be a lot more to selecting the top four teams than just being undefeated. FSU had an SOS of 55 and both UGA and Alabama beat the best team FSU played, which was LSU.

FSU’s SOS #55 Alabama’s #5 and a victory over the #1 team that had won 30 in a row. I think LSU was the best team FSU beat and LSU’s other two loses were to UGA and Alabama so it’s kind of a wash.

Targeting and launching yourself and driving a player in the ground are two different penalties. The second is ruffing the passer which they called. He did not lower his helmet and use the crown and he really didn’t launch himself either. They called it because it was a solid hit but really shouldn’t have been a penalty.

UT’s coach is real class act

Alabama’s defense is shaky in the first quarter but our DC is good at making adjustments and usually they are solid the last three quarters.

I’m a Bama fan but have lived in Georgia longer than Bama so I’m a UGA fan too. The last few years have sucked. Glad it’s not both again.
