Georgia QB Carson Beck higher than 0.5 interceptions

It is remarkably difficult to run on the Ole Miss defense. The Ole Miss defense leads the nation in havoc rate, per Game on Paper. They also lead the nation in yards per carry allowed to opposing offenses (2.3 yards). And teams have only found the endzone 4 times on the ground this season against Ole Miss. This will be a desperation spot for Ole Miss, so I’m expecting that defense to bring the juice. If Georgia can’t run the ball, Beck will be in a bad spot. He has multiple interceptions in 4 of his last 5 games, including 3 in each of his last 2. Maybe that gets cleaned up a bit and Georgia steadies the ship, but I’d still bank on Ole Miss to get one off Beck at some point throughout the game.

Wake Forest QB Hank Bachmeier higher than 0.5 interceptions

At 4-4, Wake Forest is still fighting for bowl eligibility, and with road games remaining at North Carolina and Miami, the Demon Deacons really need this one at home. They’ve won 3 of their last 4 after opening the season 1-3. Bachmeier, however, has not been clean throughout. He has interceptions in each of his last 5 games. He has 8 turnover-worthy plays on the season. And now he faces a Cal defense that has 14 interceptions in 8 games so far this year. The Bears have at least 1 interception in every game but 1 this season.

LSU QB Garrett Nussmeier higher than 259.5 passing yards

Nussmeier is discounted on the Sleeper app right now, from 287.5 passing yards down to 259.5. For what it’s worth, I’d play his number regardless. Nussmeier is seventh nationally in passing, with at least 300 yards in 6 of his 8 outings so far this season. He’s coming off a 405-yard game against Texas A&M. Whether LSU is looking to take advantage of a questionable Alabama secondary missing a key piece (Keon Sabb) or playing catch-up because it can’t slow down Jalen Milroe, I’m expecting to see another high-usage game from Nussmeier. He has at least 39 pass attempts in 5 of his last 6.

TCU QB Josh Hoover higher than 309.5 passing yards

The Oklahoma State defense stinks. Only 4 teams have given up more 20-yard pass plays this season, and no one has given up more 30-yard pass plays. I’m watching to see if Oklahoma State, loser of 6 straight, throws in the towel on the road this weekend. This has been a lost season for the Pokes. Hoover, the nation’s No. 3 passer behind only Jaxson Dart and Cam Ward, should have a field day. He has cleared 300 yards in a game 6 times this season, including in 2 straight. Both of those games saw the Horned Frogs give up 30-plus points. They’ve done so 5 times against the 8 FBS opponents they’ve faced this season. So Hoover has had a reason to throw the ball around the yard. Whether that remains the case against Oklahoma State is a bit of a question, but Hoover might not even need 30-plus pass attempts to clear this number.

Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders higher than 325.5 passing yards

I’m targeting another poor Big 12 secondary this week, too. Sanders’ number is a premium one, but that’s what you get when an elite quarterback is faced with a stinky pass defense. Only Ball State and Tulsa have given up more 10-yard pass plays this season than Texas Tech. Tulsa is the only FBS team that has given up more passing yards. The Red Raiders rank 114th in EPA per dropback faced this year, per Game on Paper. In its last 6 games, opposing quarterbacks have averaged 321 passing yards against Texas Tech. And none of those guys have the talent Sanders has. Colorado needs this game, and it doesn’t run the football.
