LSU History
LSU is synonymous with college football. Saturday night in Death Valley is something every college football fan should experience once in their lifetime.
The Tigers have also had plenty of success over the years, most recently putting together an incredible undefeated season in 2019. The 2019 LSU Tigers were, without a doubt, one of the best teams in college football history.
The LSU program claims 4 national championships in its history — 1958, 2003, 2007 and 2019. Four different head coaches have won national titles for the Tigers. Those coaches were Paul Dietzel in 1958, the legendary Nick Saban in 2003, Les Miles in 2007 and Ed Orgeron in 2019.
LSU has also produced some incredible NFL talent. QB Joe Burrow went No. 1 overall in the 2020 NFL Draft. QB Jayden Daniels, who won a Heisman Trophy like Burrow, was taken No. 2 overall in the 2024 NFL Draft.
LSU also boasts some elite wide receiver talent in the NFL ranks, including Justin Jefferson, Ja’Marr Chase, Odell Beckham Jr., Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr.
