Treylon Burks, former Arkansas WR, to miss several weeks for Tennessee Titans
Treylon Burks, a former Arkansas wide receiver, was placed on injured reserve by the Tennessee Titans Saturday afternoon. The former Razorback and 3rd-year NFL veteran suffered a non-contact injury in practice this past week.
Because of this, Burks is expected to miss the next 4 weeks for Tennessee after a slow start to his 3rd NFL season.

Burks was selected in the first round of the 2022 NFL draft by the Titans, who traded AJ Brown during the same draft. For all intents and purposes, Burks was intended to be Tennessee’s “replacement” for Brown.
That experiment started fairly well, too. Burks had a good, not great rookie year – totaling 33 receptions for 444 yards with 1 touchdown. To this day, it’s Burks’ only NFL TD reception.
As you could probably guess, Burks’ career hasn’t exactly panned out since Year 1. He played in 11 games his sophomore year and totaled just 221 receiving yards. Burks was up to 34 yards receiving this season before suffering his injury this week.
The Titans are one of the NFL’s worst-performing teams. Tennessee sits at 1-4 on the year and faces off against Buffalo on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
