Mississippi State loses commitment from 4-star OT in Class of 2025
Mississippi State just lost one of its top commitments in the Class of 2025.
Mario Nash, who had been committed to Mississippi State since mid-June, announced on social media Monday that he intends to reopen his recruitment. The 4-star offensive tackle was MSU’s 5th highest-rated prospect in the Class of 2025 and their top rated O-lineman.
Here’s a look at his post announcing his de-commitment.
First I want to thank Miss State and their staff for the time that they have spent in my recruitment, but after talking with my family, we have made the decision to reopen my recruitment

Nash stands at 6-4, 280 pounds and best projects as an interior lineman at the college ranks. He hails from Kemper County High School in De Kalb, Mississippi and previously received heavy attention from Ole Miss, Florida State, Clemson and LSU, among many others.
Interestingly, Nash recently took an official visit to Florida State on October 4, so look out for the Seminoles to be a major contender moving forward.
Nash is considered by 247Sports to be the No. 239 overall prospect in the country, as well as the No. 14 IOL and No. 10 player out of the state of Mississippi.
