Ole Miss fans were in a partying mood after a 28-10 win over Georgia on Saturday.

The No. 16 Rebels hosted the No. 3 team in the country with an opportunity to give a major boost to their College Football Playoff hopes, knowing that a loss would potentially knock them out of the picture.

Thanks to a solid defensive effort, the Rebels held serve in Oxford, dominating the game and sending the Bulldogs back to Athens with their second loss of the season.

Rebels fans celebrated by storming the field and taking the goalposts out of Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. And those goalposts ended up in The Square, as you can see below courtesy of ESPN’s Molly McGrath:

Ole Miss will move up in Tuesday’s Playoff rankings. After Saturday, they’ll have a trip to Florida before ending the season with the Egg Bowl against Mississippi State.

They’re probably out of the SEC Championship Game running, but an at-large bid in the Playoff is still in the cards if they’re able to win out for the remainder of the regular season.
