Georgia to receive visit from 5-star QB, elite in-state prospect in Week 12
Georgia has a huge game this Saturday night against Tennessee that will help determine its fate for the 2024 season, and at the same time the Bulldogs will be hosting a high-profile recruit that night who could determine what happens in 2025 and beyond in Athens.
A source told ESPN’s Pete Thamel that quarterback Julian Lewis, who is ESPN’s No. 2 overall recruit for the 2025 cycle, is going to unofficially visit Georgia on Saturday for the showdown against Tennessee. Lewis has already committed to USC and visited Colorado in October.

Lewis’s final collegiate destination is anything but a certainty though, as 247Sports’ Tom Loy recently predicted that the Carrollton (Ga.) High 5-star stud is trending toward a flip to join Deion Sanders at Colorado.
Lewis was the top player in the 2026 cycle but reclassified, so now the Georgia product is very much in play to stay in-state and head to Athens to play for Kirby Smart. Lewis has visited Georgia more than a dozen times, but he did commit to USC in August of 2023.

Georgia already has a commitment from 4-star quarterback Ryan Montgomery, but the Bulldogs are still recruiting a 2nd quarterback for their 2025 class. Montgomery is also expected on Georgia’s campus this weekend for an unofficial visit.

Starting to feel like Gaga….jeesh, hope we get him, even if he isn’t a “game manager” who makes 67 out of 74 great decisions a game. At least he doesn’t appear to be the sulk and giggle on the bench in the 4th quarter after throwing another int type. I’m sure Kirby will give Juju a fair chance to show the football world what he’s got in 3 or 4 years…welcome to the G!
What, too soon?
And all kidding aside, this is exactly the style of QB UGa could have used this year. Rambling man, scrambling man, great arm on the run.
Would be a shame for you to choke and lose that game in front of your new friend. He may not like you as much. He may see through you.
Rent free.
gaga? Been thinking the same thing about you lately!
I hear ya…this Beck bromance thing ain’t working out so good. I might have to cut him loose…
