Mark Stoops says he contacted SEC league office about sideline contact on Brock Vandagriff
Mark Stoops shared Wednesday that he was in contact with the league office after the Kentucky-Tennessee game in Week 10.
In the 1st quarter of the game, Kentucky QB Brock Vandagriff ran out of bounds onto the Tennessee sideline. UT defensive lineman Omarr Norman-Lott, who was not on the field for the play, extended his hands out toward Vandagriff, making contact with the quarterback, who fell to the ground.

Stoops did not share any details of his conversation with the SEC, but made his feelings on the play known.
“It is something I sent into the SEC office,” Stoops said. “That’s it, I can’t even tell you what was said or the information that I got back. I’ll just say, in general — not about that player but in general — there is no place for anybody striking anybody in the head at any place. Before after, during, anytime during a game.”
Kentucky dropped the game 28-18, falling to 3-6 on the season. The Wildcats are off in Week 11 before finishing up with Murray State, Texas and Louisville.

Mark shouldn’t have said this. It makes him and his team look weak.
Really?, I think it makes Tennessee and their fans look cheap?
The ONLY article about the game is a story about him running crying to the league office? Really??
OK, I get it -Omar is 6’3″ benches 500 and puts his hands out at a player running right at him, so he’s not allowed to put his hands up to block the hit. You are fair game standing on the sideline, if you get hit too bad.
C’mon.
