Kentucky lands commitment from talented 4-star TE in class of 2025
The Kentucky Wildcats have landed a big commitment for their 2025 class.
On Wednesday night, 4-star tight end Mikkel Skinner officially committed to the Wildcats. The 6-foot-3, 220-pound TE stars for Riverside High School in Greer, SC and was previously committed to Cincinnati.

Skinner is rated as the No. 20 TE in the country and the No. 8 prospect out of South Carolina according to the 247Sports Composite ranking.
The talented prospect is a multi-sport athlete who also stars in basketball and runs track. Skinner got snaps at TE, running back, and wide receiver in 2023 and caught 44 passes for 651 yards and 10 touchdowns. The athlete also rushed 68 times for 588 yards and 5 TDs while helping his team make the South Carolina AAAA playoffs.
Before committing to Kentucky, Skinner was committed to Cincinnati. The 4-star committed to the Bearcats back in June but continued to go on visits. Skinner was heavily recruited by Clemson, South Carolina, and West Virginia, among others.
Kentucky’s 2025 class is now ranked as the No. 20 class in the nation. The school has 7 4-star and 14 3-star prospects committed for 2025. Skinner is the first TE to commit to Kentucky for 2025.
