Ole Miss is hot right now, that’s for sure.

Lane Kiffin scored the biggest win of his coaching career on Saturday, leading his Rebels to a 28-10 win over Georgia. Ole Miss, despite having lost twice this season, is very much in play for a spot in the College Football Playoff at the end of the year.

And on Monday, the Rebels flipped the commitment of former Auburn pledge Dante Core, a 3-star defensive back in the Class of 2025. Core committed to Auburn in May and took an official visit to The Plains in July. With the Tigers struggling mightily, Core appears to have opted for the more stable environment over in Oxford.

Core is considered by 247Sports to be the No. 660 overall prospect in the Class of 2025, and the No. 57 cornerback. He stands at 5-11, 165 pounds and hails from Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

Core is Ole Miss’s 6th defensive back commitment and the 19th overall pledge in the 2025 cycle as of mid November.
