A product of Anniston (Alabama) High School, Kite was rated 4-stars, the No. 9 player in the state and No. 167 prospect overall in the 2022 recruiting class on the 247Sports Composite. He signed with Nick Saban’s program over scholarship offers from 15 other programs.
Kite made just 2 appearances for Alabama during the 2022 season, taking a redshirt. In 2023, Kite was a special teams contributor and depth piece in the secondary, logging playing time in 7 contests.
After 2 seasons in Tuscaloosa, Kite entered the transfer portal and landed on The Plains. At AU, Kite played in 5 games of the 2024 campaign. Tate’s report notes that Kite has logged only 5 defensive snaps since Auburn’s Sept. 21 game against Arkansas.
Auburn is 3-5 on the season entering the Week 10 game against Vanderbilt. The Kite-less Tiger defense is tasked with containing familiar foe Diego Pavia, now the quarterback of the Commodores after transferring from New Mexico State.
Some of the players of today are going to have to learn that if a team is losing with them, they may as well lose without them.
What do you expect? He come from the gumps lol
The Barn is the one who picked up Bama’s cast-off. Tell us you are ignorant without telling us you are ignorant.
You’re better at Bama at one thing in that you’ve had more coaches than Bama has had natties.
While it’s difficult to be certain what you were trying to say there, it appears the intention was to state that AU has had more HCs than Bama has had national championships.
This is absolutely hilarious, given that AU and Bama have had the same number of HCs, according to wiki, and both far exceed even the fantastical 17 claimed by UAt. Bama has even had more coaches this century, which includes 16 seasons with one man at the helm. AU is not an outlier in firing coaches.
