LSU announces guest captain trio of former Tiger stars vs. Alabama
LSU football announced its guest team captains against the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday, releasing that it would be welcoming former running back Leonard Fournette, defensive tackle Ricky Jean-Francois and guard Stephen Peterman to take the field for the Tigers.
Fournette was one of the best running backs in LSU history, totaling 32 games played. He carried the ball 32 times for 3,830 yards with 40 touchdowns. Jean-Francois, a defensive tackle, totaled his LSU career at 56 tackles, 10 tackles for losses and 5.5 sacks. He was also a member of the LSU track and field team.
Peterman was also a force but within the offensive line. He was an All-American and anchor for LSU’s line in 2003 as the Tigers went on to win the BCS National Championship.

It will be interesting to see how LSU handles Alabama moving forward, but there is no question that these pairs are arch rivals. And it is clear that there is a force against the Alabama Crimson Tide.
LSU will look to get back to the right side of the win column in this one, which has not been favorable in the past.

40 TDs on 32 carries. I knew he was good, but that’s incredible.
He made the impossible possible
